Description:

Precon is sort of like a pep rally for our National Conference in Texas. The SouthWeset Region (made up of Socal, Norcal, and Nevada) comes together. At Precon, we listen to sessions, compete in the available competitions, and we just bond as one region before attending conference.

Conference is like a religious retreats for youths. Trained Singles Coordinator will lead and provide talks about various Catholic topics that is relevant to the youth (e.g Theology of the Body). Besides talks there are group worships, music, sharing and games that will help to strengthen/reinforce their Catholic beliefs.

There will be a Flores De Mayo/ Santa Cruzan Celebration in IHM on May 28 as early as 7:20 AM and we are inviting the youth if possible to do a flower offering to Mother Mary after the Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament following the 8:00 AM Mass. We are in need of gathering as many children, young men and women as we can in honoring The Blessed Virgin Mary for this month of May. It will be a great experience for the young ones about the culture and tradition of the Devotion to Mother Mary. Hope you can consider. Please wear your best Sunday clothes. Girls, younger kids, preferably white and dress for young ladies.

Hi All, Please check out the (2nd) link below for the Safe Environment site , if you wish to serve or help out at any YFL or KFL gathering we must be certified with the Oakland Diocese. It only takes about 1/2 an hour to go thru it and about $10 , this course not only protects our children but also protects ourselves. Don't forget to print out the Certificate after taking the course. God Bless.
